Band Bio

Finder's Fee is a blues-rock band based out of Redford. Playing mostly originals, the threesome play throughout the metro Detroit area.

Forrest Keyes: Guitar, Harmonica, Violin and Vocals
    Dan "The Man" Marschner: Bass
    Donald Murphy: Drums and Percussion

Change. It's inevitable. Searching for a new sounds and strong fits for a band, people come & go. But the music must go on.

Dan Marschner & Don Murphy had been playing rhythm for a west-side band for many years. Opening for bands such as Dokken and Blaze Bayley, being listed as one of the top 100 unsigned bands in the country, they were on the verge of success when Change first occurred. Then, sadly, It happened again. They kept going, though, searching for a sound that would catch people's ears.

Meanwhile, Forrest Keyes was playing on the east-side. His band just cut an album and were preparing to capitalize on the recordings when It happened to him.

Finder's Fee was created. An original mix of classic rock, experimental elements, blues riffs, jazz influence, and progressive styling drives the music behind the band. Energetic and impromptu arrangements catch audience's attention. Opportunities & chance brought the three together and now they are set on giving metro Detroit a mix of bluesy, hard, classic rock.
